Dr. H. C. Tien 'delivered' this 'dragon'  in his research  for a mission impossible  with a global TiENSTROKES(R) alphabet to convert any language to Chinese characters with the touch of a stroke. Internet-Chinese(R) IT (Information Technology). This is the "IT miracle"!

This was the only Chinese model sold in the United States. It was installed at Chinese Computer Communications, Inc. in Lansing, Michigan in 1981, and is still owned by CCC.

The story of this system was featured in the IBM Outlook magazine of February 1983. See picture for details. IBM also custom-designed software for CCC.

This special model of the IBM System 34 from includes ideographic display, keyboard, and printer to work with Chinese characters. The hardware and software are intact and in working condition.
